   Gamcheon Culture Village public lanes

   The investigation climbs into the hills

   Kuryu and Amamiya’s search brings them into Gamcheon’s steep residential lanes. The hillside pursuit belongs to the village before its later art-project makeover, so today’s colorful facades differ from the film.

   Begin at the visitor entrance and follow public lanes toward the hillside viewpoints. Steps are steep; avoid stopping in doorways and do not enter private stairs or homes.

   Market streets

   Jagalchi Market streets

   자갈치시장

   Kuryu and Amamiya in the harbor city

   The pair’s Busan investigation passes through the busy Jagalchi market area. Japanese fans have retraced the street views with reference photographs from the film; the market buildings and storefronts have changed over time.

   Take a local bus or taxi from Gamcheon to Nampo. Walk the public seafood-market streets without blocking deliveries; this stop does not promise an unchanged stall from 2007.

   Market food alley

   Gukje Market food alley

   국제시장 먹자골목

   A meal in the middle of a case

   Gukje Market’s food alley is associated with the scene in which Kuryu and Amamiya are offered Korean food. A Japanese fan visit from 2008 identifies the filming area around Arirang Street and the market’s food stalls.

   Walk about 10–15 minutes from Jagalchi to Gukje Market. Browse the food alley as a present-day market; the original vendor and seating arrangement are not guaranteed.
